Description
The rare cocoa for this luscious drinking chocolate comes from the Solomon Islands, a sovereign state of over 900 Pacific islands to the East of Papua New Guinea.
The cocoa is sourced and made into chocolate by Firetree Chocolate in England who specialise in producing Pacific ‘Ring of Fire’ chocolates and it reflects the volcanic terroir and the high quality and care that goes into the cocoa that is grown.
The chocolate is 69% cocoa, with fruity, slightly acidic notes.
To make a fabulous cup of hot chocolate, first make an emulsion in a mug with a little freshly boiled water and 2 dessert spoons of powder. Then dilute to taste with frothy milk, or like the Chocolate Detective, just with more hot water. All packaging is compostable including the natureflex inner bag.”
