Provencal Chocolate Almonds
NOTES: First uncovered by the Chocolate Detective in 1983 while visiting her beloved Provence. They are made from local almonds by the Doucet family who have been honing their craft for generations. Roasted & caramelised before being covered in dark chocolate and cocoa powder, there’s just the faintest hint of wild herbs in the caramel.
Both soft & crunchy, extremely hard to resist.
Both bag and ribbon are 100% compostable.
Chantal –
These have a delicious savoury flavour in the centre. My only complaint is that they are difficult to put down once started, so I need to keep several bags hidden in places I am not tempted to retrieve them all at once.
