“Talking of eggs as indeed we must given that Easter is all about new life, something I recommend every year, because they are epic, are Chocolate Detective’s Birds’ [or bunny with..] Eggs. These come in beautiful packaging, gorgeously (all the adjectives) illustrated. You get six praline filled eggs and six filled with salted caramel. These are a sweet little treat for yourself but if you’re stuck on what to bring to a host these are unusual enough to merit conversation and unless they hate praline/salted caramel, and I know some people do, they are usually universally well liked. I’ve given them to people who have gone on to order more every year. They can and do sell out though so don’t dilly dally if you think you’d like them and I’m not saying this to spur you onto spending, rather, to avoid disappointment.”
